Received by the 44th BG 20 Sep 42 prior to moving to the ETO. This a/c was one of the original nine assigned to the 67th BS. The photo was taken, Jan 43 and is one of a sequence of photographs taken by the English paper "Planet News Ltd" London.

Project # 379. Image shows "774" in 68th BS with call letter S. It seems to have been transferred to 93rd BG because it's in that group's records as having been salvaged battle damaged 26 Aug 43. It is supposed to have been named HITLER'S NIGHTMARE at some stage but I've not seen photographic evidence to support this.
