I found this poster many years ago entitled "Consolidated B-24 Liberator JOISEY BOUNCE in formation with aircraft from the 93rd Bomb Group based at Hardwick". Since I flew with the 93rd, I had to have it! Photo had to be before "Tidal Wave", 1 Aug 43. A gunner flew all positions (except top). Joined 376th Bomb Group at Bengasi, Libya in Sep 43 - left Feb 44 from San Pancrazio, Italy (22 missions) for the 93rd Bomb Group, at Hardwick, England (18 missions) and finishing 12 Jun 44. "1" official kill at Weiner Neustadt, Austria 2 Nov 43 - "3" unconfirmed.

Renamed to UTAH MAN and flown
to Ploesti on 1 Aug 43 by Walter Stewart and his crew. Shot down 13 Nov 43 during a mission to Bremen
after Walter Stewart finished his combat tour and returned to the
states with BOMERANG (41-23722) on a war bond tour. I can't confirm this 100%, but the other three aircraft
pictured (in order from closest to farthest) are probably:
41-24147 - The DUCHESS
41-23722 - BOMERANG
42-40246 - THUNDER MUG
