Crash-landed 10 Feb 44 at Ash Hill Farm, Hilgay, near Southery, on return from its first and the Group's third mission (target: Gilze-Rijen airfield in the Netherlands). The Pilot was 1st Lt. Robert Bickerstaff, who with his crew #46, had flown LITTLE MIKE to Old Buckenham from Morrison Field, West Palm Beach, FL, leaving there under ATC orders dated 21 Dec 43. Salvaged 11 & 12 Feb 44. Note the distribution #542.
