Shown with erroneous Squadron Code (SC) "3X" due to the fact that this a/c
had first been assigned to the 852nd BS, where it had been coded 3Q T; the photo
evidently shows it while still retaining its 852nd individual letter T, while
the Squadron Code was in the process of being altered from 3Q to 6X.
When the aircraft was interned in Switzerland, the 854th 6X had been completed,
but its older 852nd BS letter T hadn’t yet been replaced by its
scheduled/assigned 854th RCL X.
