Contributor - Ron Carn
Shown with my Father, Charles Carn (Nose Gunner kneeling far
left), in training at Westover Field in Massachusetts, May 44. They went
overseas in June 44, and they thought their plane would be called "The Bald
Eagle". Pilot Gary G. Allen (standing 2nd from right) was going bald and decided
to name her SHADY LADY (42-50759).
