Contributor - Wally Forman
Richard F. Gelvin (Navigator) has a 4 page narrative in the 2ADA Journal of how the nose art happened, and how she came to be adopted as the 700th Bomb Squadron logo as depicted (without her name).
Info Contributor - Edward Zobac
Shown with Maurice Knight Bason (Radio Crew Chief) of Greensboro, NC. My Father, Robert W. Zobac (Waist Gunner), flew this plane back to the states in May, 1945, with his crew and some extra ground crew passengers. The crew trained together at Mt. Home, ID in late 1944. They took the ocean liner "Il de France" over to England in early Jan, 1945. Their first mission was in the middle of Feb.
