Original aircraft received 20 Sep 42 in the 44th BG. Flew on 1 Aug 43 Ploesti mission. RCL changed from "D" to "S" in Sep 43. Belly-landed, exploded and burned 16 Dec 43 in a minefield on the beach in the mouth of the river Humber, off Skeffling, East Riding, Yorkshire, on a mission to Bremen. Salvaged 29 & 30 Dec 43.
