Taken when the 389th BG crews returned to Hethel, England from their detached service to Bengasi, Lybia. Started combat 11 Jul 43. Flown by William Nading, H. H. "Chris" Christensen and crew (shown above) on the 1 Aug 43 Ploesti mission. Flown by the Connors Crew (389th / 565th) and crash-landed at Manston, England killing entire crew 1 Dec 43.
