The name BONNIE VEE, may have been known to William Bruce by this name because
his wife's name was Verlyn but I have no evidence that the name was painted on
the aircraft. The plane arrived at Tibenham in May 1944 and flew or was a spare
on 63 missions but was flown by the Bruce crew only twice (11 and 27 Sep 44),
the crews other 8 missions being flown in a variety of aircraft.
