Flown to UK from Grenier Field, Manchester, New 
Hampshire, via the North Atlantic route under Movement Orders dated 25 Jul 44. 
Was at BAD 2, Warton, Lancashire, but no trace in any 8 AF Combat unit. 
Transferred to the RAF and received from BAD 1, Burtonwood, Lancashire, on 29 
Nov 44. Given British serial TT 336 and assigned to 100 Group, 223 Squadron, at 
Oulton, Norfolk, as 6G R. Lost 14 Jan 45 - shot down 12 miles south of Antwerp, 
Belgium. The remains of the aircraft are exhibited in a "Wings of War" museum at 
Meerhout, Belgium, close to where it crashed.
