The date on the photo is incorrect.
Damage is result of ground collision at Attlebridge on return from 23 Mar 45
mission to Osnabrück due to faulty brakes (hydraulic system was out) with
44-40463 CONSOLIDATED MESS (8 466 785 2U H+). Both aircraft were salvaged.
