43. My Uncle Joseph Avendano (Pilot), was one of the original members of the 93rd that would survive this mission.
DOGPATCH RAIDERS was in the second wave of planes that came over the target behind their Commander Addison Baker that day. This would become the most decorated mission of
WWII.
