The 2nd DYNAMITE 'N DODO in 34th BG - Renamed to PETE

Note the buzz-bomb symbol above the name. This plane is supposedly the only heavy bomber in W.W.II to be credited with shooting down a V-1 buzz-bomb.

Later assigned to 492nd BG / 856th BS (T), later 858th BS (D). Early in Feb 45 it was transferred to 453rd BG / 732nd BS (E3 P) where it was named PETE and AKA "Percolatin' Pete".
