My Uncle,
Gene Cornell (R/Waist Gunner), who had planned on being an artist, painted the
name and was in the process of painting the crew on the nose as well, when he
was KIA on D-Day 6 June 44 in another A/C, SHOOT FRITZ, YOU'VE HAD IT
(44-40247).
