Originally 34th BG, 391st BS RCL: G.
Flew two missions before transfer to 493rd BG:
23 May 44 (lead) Pilot: Capt. Orson A. Israelsen (4th BS) with a Command Pilot named Gerhart
24 May 44 (deputy lead) Pilot: Capt. John Blair Jr.
In 493rd BG it was assigned to 861st BS RCL: S. From dispersal # 30, it took up position # 9 in the low squadron on the Group's first combat mission (D-Day) to Lisieux when it was flown by a pilot named Durgin. I have no information on subsequent missions except that it was MIA on 14 Jun 44.
