On her way back from a mission to bomb Naples, Italy, LADY BE GOOD was lost in the Libyan Desert.
The wreckage was found in 1959, by an oil exploration team. All crewmembers perished:

1st Lt William J. Hatton - Pilot 2nd Lt Robert F. Toner - Co-Pilot 2nd Lt Dp Hays - Navigator 2nd Lt John S. Woravka - Bombardier
