Original Lettering
Contributor - Robert Livingstone

MISS GIVING was not named until late Jun 43, because the crew could not agree on a name. The nose art was painted by Dick Ebberson (this was his first) who did so many beautiful images for the 528th BS, later. Ebberson loved fancy lettering and the image showing a fancy M and G was apparently a trial image which was rejected by the crew. The image was on the right side only (there was no nose art on the left side). The model for the nose-art was a "Petty Girl" pin-up who was blond and holding a telephone.
