Missions: Siapan, Guam, and Okinawa. The art work was done by our Co-Pilot, Lt. Ben Furse. He used a Varga Girl picture from the magazine and drew a grid on it. He then enlarged and transferred it to the side of the plane as a guide and then painted it. He also had to pulverize some island rock for the tinting "effect". It turned out to be a very professional and inspirational portrait that kept reminding us what we were fighting for.
