Photo was taken at Kabrit Airfield, Egypt, on the Suez canal, 21 Nov 42, on return from Landing Ground 139 outside of Tobruk, Libya, after a night raid on Tripoli. Photo was taken by John Plavchak, who was out sick the day the plane was shot down (17 Dec 42) and was replaced by Charles L. Jennetta (Observer - POW, Ret).
