Crash-landed in a field southwest of the 742nd BS camp area 13 Sep 44. They were returning from a mission to Odertal, Germany, when they ran out of fuel and lost two engines. No casualties in the crash. Pilot was 1st Lt. Clifford E. Wrightson, Co-Pilot was 2nd Lt. Albert N. Edelstein.
