Original aircraft assigned to 392nd BG / 579th BS (GC 
A) at Topeka and was ferried to England by a 392nd BG crew. 1/Lt. D.S. Rogillio 
flew it on 2 Oct 43 on a diversion mission out of Wendling. Transferred to 44th 
BG / 506th BS (GJ U). T/Sgt. David L. Lieck (Radio Operator) was a member of 
Lt. Richard A Parker's crew who flew it on 10 Oct 43 on a diversion mission out 
of Shipdham.
