Info Contributor - Tom Brittan
Originally with 8/34/4 with call letter L and, as such, flew missions between 23 May and 6 Jun 44. 34th BG project # was 92537, which can easily be misread as 92532 (project # for original 491st BG aircraft).
RAT POISON was then assigned to 8/493/XXX and only went to 8/392/579 (GC H) at the end of its career to fly just 5
missions between 25 Oct 44 and 1 Jan 45 when it crash or force landed in Belgium. It was not salvaged there until 16 Mar 45.
