The only aircraft from the 455th BG, 742nd BS to survive the 26 Jun 44 mission against the oil refinery at Moosbierbaum, Austria (the other six aircraft were shot down). On 12 Sep 44, aircraft was damaged during a bombing mission against the airdrome at Lechfield, Austria, and landed at Dubendorf, Switzerland on 12 Sep 44. Interned for the duration (MACR 8359).
