Pilot 1st Lt. Adolph Komer headed for Sweden after being attacked by fighters on the 29 May 44 mission to Tutow but belly-landed on the runway at Schleswig-land airfield, Hohenlieth, 3 km SE of Eckernförde, Germany, on only #1 engine which was overheating.
