Repaired at Manston, Kent, 24 Mar - 6 Apr 45 - hydraulic system. Salvaged 16 Apr - 6 Jun 45 at Watton - buckled wing ribs in what may have been a landing accident (entry appears on 3 SAD Field Engineering salvage list for 458th BG but this may be incorrect because the plane was still with 491st BG on 14 Apr 45). However, 21st Statistical Control Unit, Headquarters Eighth Air Force, Report of Heavy Bombers Salvaged for Jun 45 lists this as a 458th BG plane, salvaged 6 Jun 45 because repairs exceeded time limit, so it may have been transferred.
