Accepted into the USAAF inventory 10 Aug 43, and arrived overseas
17 Sep 43. Apparently
it crash-landed 10 May 44 and was put out of service. Started in the 564th BS, then
transferred to the 566th BS, when the 564th BS became a pathfinder squadron in Mar 44. Flew 41 missions, with 2 aborts. 31 missions were with the 564th BS, and
the remainder was with the 566th BS.
