My Aunt (Mrs Charles Kirkwood) and Uncle (Charles Kirkwood) are in this photo. Dad and Uncle Charles worked at Consolidated before and after the war. During one occasion while visiting the Leigh's at their home in San Diego, they were introduced to Mr. Howard Hughes and his girlfriend who was introduced as Ms. Demure. Mr. Hughes was there for a business meeting.

Reuben Hollis Fleet (6 March 1887 – 29 October 1975), born and raised in Montesano, Washington, was an American aviation pioneer, businessman and army officer. Fleet founded, among other companies, Consolidated Aircraft. The citizens of Montesano, purchased war bonds to pay for the B-24 named the SPIRIT OF MONTESANO.
