On loan to 458 BG as NB D for truckin' missions Sep 44. On return to 44th BG it flew only 8 more missions in 7 months before being RZI 31 May 45.
29 Apr 4 was the date on which 42-100279 8 44 67 NB I, name, if any, unknown, was lost. This was wrongly thought in the past to be the identity of the B-24 named TUFFY
