My wife's Grandfather, Michael Shubick, was with the
141st Army Airways Communication System AACS. He was responsible for putting up
the Control Tower, Point to Point and Air to Ground communications for the B-24s
on Leyte, Mindoro and Luzon in the Philippines, 1943-45.
