TECHNICAL OBSERVER Wings

A pierced "O" with a "T" superimposed on it at the center of the wings.

The T/O served as an aircraft manufacturer's flying representative, who studied the performance of aircraft in combat or other specific roles, and made suggestions on what modifications should be made, either in the field, or by the factory, to improve performance.
